Best friends Ruth and Megan run a vintage shop in North London. When they stumble across a time machine, they embark on trips to the past, ‘borrowing’ items to sell in the present. They don't want to change history, or rob banks, they just want to find a nice lamp… without getting sucked into the hellish time/space vortex that is the Unreason.

F*CKTOYS

Film
Host:
Director:
Mature audiences only.

F*cktoys is a lush, 16mm fever dream that reimagines the Major Arcana of the Tarot through the story of AP: a struggling pollyanna seeking salvation from a curse. AP is promised by not one but multiple psychics that for a cool $1000 -and the sacrifice of a baby lamb- it can be lifted. So she makes money the only way she knows how: scootering her way deeper into the night, and into the uncouth underbelly of Trashtown. Dark, irreverent, and sexy, the film cascades through a series of larger-than-life characters and absurd situations, each more unhinged than the last. Fucktoys is a campy romp that explores the intersection of intimacy, exploitation, and class in a pre-millenium alternate universe of urban decay and pastel cotton candy skies.

Gamma Rays

Film
Host:
Director:
A tender dramedy where quiet lives shift, secrets surface, and youth from immigrant communities bring raw realism to Les Rayons gamma.

Abdel’s quiet life is upended by the arrival of his extraverted cousin, who’s staying for the summer. Fatima craves a more stable life since she’s starting a new job as a supermarket cashier. Toussaint, while fishing, finds a bottle washed up on the shore, and there’s a message inside. Straddling the line between fiction and documentary, Les Rayons gamma is a dramedy filmed with young, non-professional actors from immigrant communities.
